After 35 years in UX design and leadership, I made a deliberate choice to stop. Not to retire. To redirect.

Today I'm an artist, returning to the creative path I didn’t pursue fully when I was younger. I offer portrait sessions for families and pets, and capture landscape and nature scenes simply for the love of it. Alongside the camera work, I'm building a growing body of creative work in other mediums — painting, printmaking, drawing, writing — following wherever the curiosity leads.

A Little Backstory

I spent 35 years in UX design and leadership managing teams using discovery-driven product methods in e-commerce. I left intentionally. My husband Kenn and I moved from Chicago to the Sonoran Desert. I finished my corporate life shortly thereafter and started building a life around what I actually wanted to do rather than what I had always done.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

• I live outside Tucson, in the Sahuarita/Green Valley area, where the desert light makes you want to pick up a camera every morning.

• I start most days early, with a walk and my camera before anything else begins.

• I ride an e-bike.

• I track my sleep obsessively.

• I'm currently deep in a Sci-Fi phase and not apologizing for it.

• I once got a professional bartending certification to fill the gap between jobs.

• I believe in intentional living, honest conversation, and making things worth keeping.
